The drawing style, not to say talent and humour, obviously runs in the family.<br /><br />The dark foreboding of the early paragraphs is more to my taste, if I were reading or writing kids' books, but as I have often said, had I written the Dirk Lloyd books they would have struggled to sell a tenth as many copies. With regard to this on...Pre-ordered, read, enjoyed! With regard to this one, the first few paragraphs are darkly foreboding (but not in a good way), possibly too realistic for a fun, escapist chortlefest.
