You won't want to miss...

We've been seeing some glimpses of Prime Games' forthcoming Fabled Lands CRPG, and shared some of Guy Sclanders' wonderful FL playthroughs, so you won't want to miss Guy taking the alpha of the CRPG for a spin. Thanks to Victor Atanasov and the team for a truly marvellous-looking game.

Part two here:

I see in the chat window that Guy was reminded of the music accompanying Igrayne's dance in John Boorman's Excalibur. Judge for yourself below. (And, Guy, you're dead right; it is the best Arthurian movie ever.)

  1. I don't want to miss it. Unfortunately, I probably will end up missing it because my computer is a Macbook Pro and Steam games are only compatible with Windows.

    1. Maybe if there's enough demand Prime Games will release a Mac version later?

    2. I finally bit the bullet and looked things up. Apparently something like 89% of the world uses Windows. Unless you're making something specifically for Apple users, if you're making something to sell to the general computer-using public, you make it work in Windows. Then, if it's not too much of a pain in the ass, maybe you release a version for Apple. Something as involved as the FL CRPG would likely be a huge PitA to release for Apple as well as Windows.

    3. On the plus side, I guess nobody bothers writing Apple viruses either.

  2. I'm tempted to get it on release day and am almost guaranteed to get it eventually but I have 1 question and the answer will determine whether or not I get it

When or if you release The last 5 Fabled Lands Books will you update this game with the new regions?. Yes, no, you don't know or maybe

    1. Prime Games' goal is for the CRPG to cover all the territory featured in the books eventually. If we complete the series I'm sure the CRPG will expand to match.

    1. If you follow it on Steam I think you'll get the latest ETA. Can't be long now.
